Starting off with the man himself and Chelsea fans might be seeing one of the lasting features of Hazard’s time at Stamford Bridge. After numerous calls were made on social media, the return of his banner has been confirmed.

Chelsea fans created the giant banner that would be paraded in the Matthew Harding lower before games as a tribute and thanks to the winger during his playing days and are now set to bring it out once more.

It is Arsenal next up for the Blues, one of Hazard’s favourite opponents to face, and he will once more be one of the threads discussed on the day with this latest showing being prepared.

Arsenal line-up

Before Mauricio Pochettino gets back underway in domestic action he has plenty of decisions to make for Chelsea. With a long period of rest now for a larger portion of the squad than most top clubs, the manager could welcome back some huge names.

Reece James is set to return having not played since the second game of the season and there is more chance for Axel Disasi and Nicolas Jackson to get over issues they have picked up in the past week.

There is also positive news when it comes to Christopher Nkunku. The Frenchman is recovering well from his own long-term injury but is not yet ready to play. It still looks like December will be a more realistic return for him.

Lukaku speaks

Not exactly what fans want to hear but Romelu Lukaku has been talking to the media once more and its only quotes that are going to grate with Chelsea fans.

“I don’t beat around the bush, I’ll speak in time,” he said on international duty for Belgium. “But if I actually said how last summer went everyone would be shocked!
