Lewandowski has been sidelined twice this season due to injuries, which could force Barcelona’s hand.

While the Barcelona board has been pleased with the Poland international’s achievements since joining the club last year, his current injury issues have cast doubt on the management’s mind, according to El Nacional.

Barcelona manager Xavi is thought to be looking forward to the January arrival of Vitor Roque, who is anticipated to take over the No. 9 position from Lewandowski.

Deco, on the other hand, believes Roque can relieve Lewandowski’s goal-scoring responsibility.

As a result, Barcelona’s board of directors is keen to hear any proposals for the former Bayern Munich goal machine.

Saudi Arabian clubs are keen on signing Lewandowski, and Barcelona expects them to pay the €40 million asking price.

Lewandowski’s contract with Barcelona expires in three years.

The 35-year-old joined the Spanish La Liga champions for €45 million in 2022.

Kanyidaily recalls that Manchester City Captain, Ilkay Gundogan Has Joined Barcelona On Free Transfer.
