Recounting one of her ordeals, Victoria Inyama stated that her ex used to bring in his girlfriends to their matrimonial home just to spite her.
Veteran Nigerian film actress, Victoria Inyama has opened up on how her ex-husband, Godwin Okrim, would often return home with his girlfriend during their marriage.
In a conversation with Chude Jideonwo, she recounted the unending domestic abuse faced at the hands of her ex-husband.
Victoria Inyama cited instances when her ex-husband would bring home his girlfriend just to intimidate her in their house. This is what she had to say:
“So your husband was bringing his girlfriends home?” the host asked.
And in response, Victoria Inyama said:
“Oh wow, yes. There was even one instance where the girl was telling me what to cook.
“I should not be cooking meat; I should be cooking fish. Fish is more healthy. I was just looking at this girl, and they were ‘working together.”
In a similar situation, Nigerian film actress, Oloruntimilehin Bosede Bukola better known as Kiitan Bukola opened up on her failed engagement to her ex-fiancé, Kingsley.
In an interview with her colleague, Debbie Shokoya on her podcast, Kiitan debunked rumors that she insulted her would-be mother-in-law. According to her, she saw her fiance’s mother as her own, someone they prayed together and was even always reporting her son to her.
Recounting how their relationship ended, Kiitan recalled how she caught her fiance with another woman when he was sick. Narrating the incident, her fiance had called the lady to help take care of him, and her mother-in-law who was unaware that someone else was taking care of her son had called Kiitan to inform her that her fiance was sick.
Kiitan Bukola who was in a different state, was left in shock when she met another woman in his house parading around as his girlfriend. Because of the distance, she had no choice but to stay in the same house with the lady and they all slept on the same bed.
