Moreover, it is evident that even with his seeming confidence, President Tinubu is finding it difficult to retrieve the embezzled cash and choose what measures to take against the offenders.

According to Vanguard, it was reported that for security reasons and to safeguard ongoing intelligence efforts, Saturday Vanguard was advised by a reliable source within Aso Rock not to disclose specific names or elaborate details regarding the investigation into the missing funds.

Weekend Vanguard learnt that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, gave Obaze the authority to investigate any and all aspects related to the disappearance of funds from Nigeria’s treasury or their illicit diversion into private hands.

During the investigation, authorized and unauthorized transfers, as well as cash withdrawals, were uncovered at both the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and within the presidency.

More information made it known that various financial irregularities, including over-invoicing, forgeries, unauthorized releases, influence-peddling, funds diversion, arms deals, forex transactions, and other forms of financial misconduct, were identified, with funds ultimately traced to influential figures within the previous administration.

Saturday Vanguard was informed that funds printed through ways and means, totaling over N30 trillion during the Buhari administration, encountered numerous alleged irregularities, resulting in diversion and lack of accountability. CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>>
