In response, Bashir Ahmad declared that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) was the only credible opposition party in the nation and that the results of the nationwide by-elections held by INEC would inform Nigerians that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is the party of choice for the people.
Mr Bashir Ahmad made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle. He went on and noted that any other party apart from these two parties is a mushroom or Andrews Liver Salts party.
Bashir Ahmad wrote: “The results from this week’s by-elections across the country would tell you that APC is the choice of the Nigerian people, while PDP is the only serious opposition party. Any other party apart from these two is a mushroom or Andrew Liver Salts party.”
