Recall that it was reported that Herbert Wigwe died alongside his wife, Chizoba and their son in a devastating helicopter accident near the border of California and Nevada, in the United States of America. Many Nigerians have mourned the demise of the late banker.
Governor Hope Uzodimma stated on his verified Facebook page; “I do not intend to reopen a healing wound but the pain Nigerians felt over the tragic death of my friend and brother, Herbert Wigwe, the wife and son, is so deep and while in Lagos, my wife Chioma Uzodimma and I spent time with the family offering consolation and words of encouragement.”
He added; “Herbert was an extraordinary being and we will continue to miss him however, we take solace in the great impacts he left while on earth. May the soul of Herbert, Chizoba, Chizi and the souls of the faithful departed, continue to rest in the bossom of the Lord. – Hope Uzodimma”.
