This was said in a statement released on Wednesday, June 5, by the former governor of Anambra State, who clarified that the movement was independent of any one political party in the nation.
Peter Gregory Obi asserted that the “Obidient” movement did not include anyone claiming to be in charge of what he called a “non-existent directorate.”
According to him, “Obidient” was more than just a politically neutral political party.
Peter Gregory Obi added that the movement was dedicated to holding the government accountable and responsible and acting as a ray of hope for a better Nigeria.
