Where was Obi when People Were Going the Extra Mile to See Najeebah & her Sisters Rescued From Captivity?- According to Bashir Ahmad

After paying respects to the late Najeebah Al-Kadriya’s family, Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party in 2023, was attacked on social media by Bashir Ahmad, the special assistant to former president Muhammadu Buhari on media matters.

Remember that a few hours earlier, Peter Obi, the leader of the Labour Party and a former governor of Anambra State, uploaded photos of himself with the family of deceased Najeebah Al-Kadriya to his official X account.

Peter Obi went ahead to announce that he witnessed another heartbreaking moment as he paid a condolence visit to the grieving family in Abuja, adding that such moment reminded him of the family of late Folashade Ariyo.

Such visit did not however, sit well with Bashir Ahmad as he took to his official X account to state that it is time for the Al-Kadriya’s family to stop giving access to politicians that bring along a contingent of journalists for a visit that is more about photo opportunities than genuine sympathy.

According to Bashir Ahmad;

“Where was Peter Obi when people were going the extra mile to see Najeebah and her sisters rescued from captivity? Yet now, he has taken the media to visit the family, which was solely to serve his personal political interests.”

Bashir Ahmad finally stated that even professor Isa Pantami and his friends that were the major contributors to the rescue effort, did not carry media to visit the family.CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>
