Why Northerners must continue supporting Tinubu’s administration

Tanko Yakasai, a politician of the First Republic has appealed to Northerners across Nigeria to continue supporting President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Speaking to journalists in Kano on Sunday, Yakasai also commended Nigerians for their support and prayers towards the success of the Tinubu-led administration.

He said the perceived drop in the prices of foodstuff and other essential commodities can be attributed to the policies and efforts of the president.

Also stating that the economic improvements witnessed in most parts of the country are a sign of hope, Yakasai said the Tinubu’s administration will continue to reinforce Nigerians’ trust in it.

“I have received reports that food prices are gradually dropping. Unlike before, families can now purchase basic food items more easily.”

“I have been informed that petrol, which recently sold for N1,150 per litre, is now available for about N850 per litre in some areas. This is a positive development that will ease transportation costs and stimulate economic activity,” Yakasai said.

He also said he was confident that Tinubu’s government would continue to roll out more people-oriented policies for the development of the nation.
