Hundeyin was declared wanted by the Nigerian Police National Cybercrime Centre after a discreet investigation revealed he was an accomplice of Bristol Isaac, popularly known as PIDOMNigeria on X, who was recently arrested by the police.

His cryptic post has since generated mixed reactions on social media.

Earlier, David Hundeyin said being declared wanted was the price for telling the truth, especially when it’s not fashionable.

He noted that the situation could be even worse than being declared wanted, as other attempts had been made in the past to render him stateless.

The investigative journalist spoke on Wednesday, September 4 while fielding questions on News Central TV.

Meanwhile, Hundeyin has revealed he has handed over the password and security details of the X account belonging to embattled whistleblower Isaac to the security agencies.

He made this disclosure in a post on X amidst the controversy surrounding the arrest of the controversial blogger.

“FYI: I am no longer in control of the @PIDOMNIGERIA handle. The password and security details are now under new custody,” his post reads.
