Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has announced Senator Solomon Adeola as the preferred governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 elections.
Speaking at a caucus meeting in Abeokuta, Abiodun said the decision followed consultations within the party leadership to ensure continuity and unity.
Adeola currently chairs the Senate committee on appropriations and previously represented Lagos West before moving his political base to Ogun.
