Nigerian Authorities to Arraign Timipre Sylva’s Younger Brother Over 2025 Coup Allegations

Paganengigha Anagha, younger brother of former Minister of Petroleum Timipre Sylva, will be arraigned at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday over an alleged 2025 coup plot against President Bola Tinubu.

Sylva’s driver, plainclothes police detail, and escort driver will also face trial. Sylva, currently in the UK, was allegedly a primary financier of the plot, with between N785 million and N46 billion traced to his accounts.
