Shehu Sani Backs Increased Airstrikes as Terrorism Worsens

Former Kaduna Central Lawmaker, Shehu Sani says Nigeria needs more airstrikes to stamp out terrorism from the country.

Sani made this known in a post on his verified X handle on Thursday, January 29.

His call follows rife debate on the the United States’ airstrikes on terrorists’ enclaves in Nigeria’s northwest.

Recall that US President Donald Trump had announced US airstrikes in Nigeria on Christmas Day.

“The ongoing Senate debate on the US airstrikes is in line with our democratic principles.

“The ideal outcome of the debate should be to support the ongoing partnership and support more airstrikes against terrorists in any part of the country where they are located.

“Our Air Force needs that partnership to achieve the total eradication of terrorists from our country,” Sani wrote.
