The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has confirmed that over 3,000 delegates are expected at its national convention scheduled for April 14 in Abuja.
National Publicity Secretary Bola Abdullahi accused authorities of frustrating efforts to use Eagle Square and the Moshood Abiola National Stadium Velodrome. The convention will now be held at the Rainbow Hotel. Abdullahi said: “It is part of the assault on opposition leaders and their political parties.”
