An unspecified number of people were killed by gunmen suspected to be bandits in Tadurga community, Zuru Local Government Area of Kebbi State. The bandits, according to locals, numbering over 50, invaded the community on Monday night when residents had retired to their various houses.
A source said that they just heard gunshots from every direction and then people started to run out of their houses to escape from the invading bandits. He added that the bandits looted many shops, killed several persons, abducted some and also rustled cows.
